My passion is to create. I love to push a brush onto the texture of a linen canvas or watch watercolor pigment pooling on paper. I also love the three dimensional side of art. Knotting strings together to magically produce a beaded bracelet or sewing fibers together to create an artsy blouse or doll. If I get bored with one medium I get excited with another and it goes round and round. The subject of my artwork is diverse; portraits, landscapes, impressionistic and abstracts there of. The greatest influence in my art was growing up in a very artistic, creative and talented family. I was lucky to get to know some of the country moving (too) many times, including upstate New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Southern California and Florida. I consider restoring a New Jersey shore historic shingle style house and a circa 1860 Old Schoolhouse in Massachusetts my largest scale art undertakings.  Academically trained in Landscape Architecture and Graphics I interpret landscapes in-studio and plein-air studies with an extra fervor. People have said my landscapes remind them of the romantic Hudson Valley School style for which I am greatly honored.
